Environmental Actions through Business Activities

Toyotsu Chemiplas is working to reduce environmental impact through its business activities.

Biopolyethylene

We handle Braskem’s “Green Polyethylene”. Braskem commenced commercial production of the world’s first plant-derived polyethylene in 2011.
We are working to develop and expand sales of sustainable renewable resources that are environmentally friendly and do not conflict with the food supply.

Green vehicles

We propose an array of materials for Green vehicles that emit no CO2 while running, such as electric vehicles (EV) and fuel cell vehicles (FCV), and materials for weight reduction essential for the high energy efficiency.

Automotive Materials and Parts Division

Recycled resins

We collect the resin straps generated from the forming of plastics and recycle them into pellets to sell them in an effort to contribute to the building of a recycling society.

Other green materials

Toyotsu Chemiplas handles green materials that are considered effective in tackling global warming and reducing hazardous substances to help lower environmental impact.

Foaming agents We handle low global warming potential (GWP) foaming agents to help prevent ozone layer depletion.
PTFE powders We handle PTFE powder with reduced PFOA, an environmentally hazardous substance.
Low volatile organic compounds (VOC) We handle a wide variety of low-VOC additives for resins,
water-based paints and water-based inks to help reduce VOC emissions.
Plant-derived lubricants We handle engine oils and industrial oils made from renewable plant based oil.

Acquisition of ISO 14001 certification

To globally address environmental conservation activities, the prevention of environmental risks and the reduction of generated risks,Toyotsu Chemiplas has been certified under the ISO 14001 international standards for environmental management systems to raise its environmental management level.
