Main Testing Services
Foreign material detector
TOYOTSU Chemiplas operates the Quality Support Center (QSC) and contributes to our customers’ timely quality control through the sorting of a wide variety of foreign material (lightweight, different color, metal) using various inspection devices and foreign marerial inspection equipment, as well as speedy screening through real-time analysis.
Equipment / Features
Wind sorter |
Sorting lightweight foreign material (fiber, wood chips, powder) contained in resin (pellets and flakes) that is assumed to be contamination |
---|---|
Optical sorter |
Based on the standard of good products, foreign materials are separated (deferent color pellets, black spots, pebbles) |
Metal sorter |
Sorting metal foreign material(can also detect aluminum and stainless steel) from resin (pellets/flakes) |
Real-time analysis
We have equipment that allows us to perform repeated measurements quickly and easily, centering on analyzers that can confirm the structure and composition of resins.
We will analyze any changes in the material as soon as possible after the sample arrives and report the results to you as an initial check during the Initial Stage Control or as an initial investigation into any defects that may occur.
Equipment / Features
Fluorescence X-ray analyzer (EDX) |
SOC(Substances Of Concern)/foreign material analysis |
---|---|
Infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR) |
Chemical structure of materials/Foreign material analysis |
Thermogravimeter-Differential Thermal Analyzer(TG-DTA) |
Resin reinforcement content/thermal properties |
Simple moisture meter |
Water absorption rate/heating weight reduction rate |
Pellet shape measuring device |
Pellet shape/size distribution |
Evaluation of recycled resins
・Finely crushes resin flakes.
・We also create test pieces from recycled pellets and resin flakes containing foreign material.
